Wife and I are going to be workamping down in Death Valley this winter and have been advised that there is no cell service and no wi-fi in the area in which we will be.
So we're looking at the feasibility (sp?) of internet and maybe HDTV via sat.
We use a travel trailer and plan on getting a bigger one next year so would hate to drill extra holes in the roof. We have set up Red Cross VSATs and are familiar with the overall concept and somewhat practised in hitting the proper sat manually.
What would be a good source for a tripod rig ?
What vendor makes a good tripod rig ?
Our useage would be to "moderate" about 10 yahoo groups as well as handle our e-mail. No gaming.
Our location now is Western South Dakota.
