To all of you who so kindly responded with tips and ideas ... no,
still not online. So it's a 9-mile trip through the country to our
little local library which just installed wifi ... so at least I
don't have to struggle with their computers.
Finding an installer in Alberta who is even the least bit familiar
with mobile systems is almost impossible. Have finally found an
installer with some experience but mainly on the 9000s. He was going
to contact Galaxy (Hughes Canadian counterpart) to see if they could
send a complete system out so that he could try swapping all the
individual pieces.
So, the saga continues. The suggestions this group has offered are
great ... we'll print them off and give them a try.
