One day I took my HN 7000s off line and put my old HN7000 in its place. I
went through the registration of course it needed the new information such
as serial number and pin number. After a lot of failed attempt out of
curiosity I decided to call Tech Support and ask some questions.
Well long and short of it once you go to the HN7000s you can not go back to
an earlier version. So I have 2 HN7000 and a beta version of HN7000s that
is going to go in the trash tomorrow as they serve no purpose.

I still have my old DW6000 after having replaced it with my HN7000s several
years ago. In the instance my HN7000s suddenly goes belly-up after being
struck by lightning, bit by a rattlesnake, shot out by a jealous husband, or
whatever, is it still usable on a temporary basis until my now-derelict
HN7000s can be replaced? Or will I just have to tough it out until I can
find a replacement HN7000s?
